My first Haier TV was a 7inch for the kitchen-also 4 stars. The Haier 26″ with DVD is a good bet for a bedroom. I especially like the swivel base not found on other brands. The remote is friendly and the controls on the TV are in easy reach on the side of the TV. The sound is good and changing channels is almost instant. My husband compared the picture quality to a Sharp TV of the same size and thought the Sharp was “sharper”. But the picture is very good for a small bedroom and the other features convinced me to keep the Haier.
